Dunnetts Farm Barn is a conversion of a farm building, completed in 2017. Consequently, the layouts have been dictated to a large extent by the existing building and planning requirements.
From the outside the Owners have provided good accessibility and where possible minimised the need for steps. The property is approached by a tarmac drive that leads to a short hard stone path to the front door (87cm wide). Car parking is within 5 metres of the property. The property is accessed by a level path, with one step up and over at the front door. To the rear of the property access is from a hard patio area, with a 10cm step up to an under covered area and then one further step up and over to the rear double doors. To access the lawn garden there is a small step down from the patio. The property benefits from good sensor lighting from the parking area to the front door.
Inside the building there are two points where wheelchair access may present a problem, due to width restrictions. To access the downstairs bedrooms from the main living/dining room there is a width restriction of 62cm and in moving from the Entrance Hall to the Dining room a width restriction of 68cm.
The nearest train station is Halesworth, 7 miles away. The local area is not well served by public transport, with no bus services passing within 2 miles of the property. Taxis are available although these have to be pre-booked and there are no standing taxis at the rail station. Detailed road directions can be supplied upon confirmation of booking.
