Suffolk has long been a favoured holiday destination with walkers, cyclists and those seeking a break from the pace of city life. This property is a great base from which to enjoy the pretty Suffolk countryside, its ancient villages and its famous coastline – an area designated as being of "Outstanding Natural Beauty".

The popular iconic seaside resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh are 15 and 18 miles away, or alternatively the picturesque coastal villages of Dunwich and Walberswick or the RSPB Reserve at Minsmere are even closer.

The Barn is well equipped for eating in, or you may prefer to picnic or BBQ within the grounds. Alternatively you may wish to eat out at one of the numerous award winning public houses for which this area is famous. There are good pubs to be found locally in Laxfield and Huntingfield (within 2 miles), or slightly further afield there is the pretty market town of Halesworth where you will find a number of restaurants, cafes and takeaways.

For many the allure of the Suffolk coastline is compelling, but if you want a day away from the beach then there are a number of ancient woods or heathlands to explore.

There are also numerous local attractions, including: Framlingham Castle; Oasis Camel Park; Easton Park Animal Farm; Crabbing at Walberswick; and Africa Alive. The delightful county of Suffolk offers something for everyone and staying at Dunnetts Farm Barn is an ideal base from which to make the most of it.
